Hospital Donates Pedometers to Bishop Hogan School

Matt Wenzel at Hedrick Medical Center donated 80 pedometers to Bishop Hogan Memorial School for their“Get Healthy, One Step at a Time” Project. The School is revamping their walking track to encourage more walking at the school and in the neighborhood. In Livingston County, there is a high percentage of residents dying from heart disease. The proposal is a way to change the future risks for students. The pedometers will be used by the students and staff to track daily steps and to encourage an increase in steps taken.
